The Cloud Appointments system is said to be ‘in the cloud’ as it accesses its software and data from the internet.

This means that you’re not tied to the device or location that your clinic management software is installed on.

So if you’re updating a customer’s notes on the PC and want to include a photo in the notes using your tablet you can do it.

If you want to work from home or a different location then, with an internet connection, you can do it.
All your customer details, notes and other data will still be available to you.

The system uses powerful servers located on a main internet trunk line in Auckland with a guaranteed 99.99% uptime so you get good response times and service.

Starting Up

Being in the cloud makes using the system simpler for you.

When you want a system;

  • We ask you how you want your system setup, what’s your business name, phone numbers, etc.
  • We create a system for you with a logins for your staff
  • You login to the system and you’re up and running

We’ll provide some online tuition, there’s copious online help and there’s always support if you get stuck or need changes.

Backups & Updates

Your data will be backed up nightly with copies kept at a secure location.
If the worst happens we can restore your system and data within hours.

The system’s software is regularly updated overnight to keep it secure, install fixes and enhancements.

When you start up your system the next morning it’ll automatically take advantage of the changes – you don’t have do anything more.
(And you may receive an email detailing the changes.)

Security

We understand that your data is the lifeblood of your business and we work hard to ensure that it’s secure and private.

All data communications between your device and our servers is encrypted so that anyone listening to the data traffic cannot eavesdrop on your information.

Account login security is controlled using industry standard Microsoft software.

Our system runs on dedicated physical servers which we do not share with other businesses.

  • Will not share personal information of any kind with anyone without your express permission.
  • Will not sell or rent your name or personal information to any third party
  • Do not sell, rent or provide outside access to any data we store
  • Only collect personal information that is necessary for you to access and use our services

Any data that a user stores via our facilities is wholly owned by that user or business.

At any time a user or business is free to take a copy of their data and leave, or simply ask and we will delete their data and their system from Cloud Appointments.
